Tea experts say you should put salt in your cuppa to make the perfect brew.
Chemist Dr. Michelle Francl says salt reduces the bitterness of the tea.
She also recommends heating up the cup, warming the milk before adding it to the tea to prevent it from curdling, and never using the same bag twice.
The recommendations are contained in her new book, Steeped: The chemistry of tea.
