A nine year old girl is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash which claimed the lives of two of her family members.
The collision between a car and a truck happened at Scrub just outside Killeigh in County Offaly yesterday evening.
The young girl was airlifted to Crumlin Children's Hospital.
An eight year old boy - who was a 4th passenger in the car - and the truck driver were taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
A 30 year old man and a five year old boy were killed in the collision.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact Tullamore Garda Station.
