No loud music will be allowed in pubs when they reopen from next month under new guidelines.

Failte Ireland says this means no live music in pubs or restaurants.

They are set to reopen for outdoor dining from June 7th, with indoor service expected to resume the following month.

Under the new measures, customers will also have to leave the premises by 11:30pm.

6 people will be allowed at a table, however children aged 12 and under are exempt from this.

So when they are included, there can be a maximum of 15 people at one table.

Where tables are 1 metre or less apart, indoors, there will be a time limit of 105 minutes.

Failte Ireland has also outlined what an outdoor space is, saying "An outdoor place or premises that is covered by a roof, so long as not more than 50% of the perimeter (outside) is covered by a wall, windows, gate or similar".
