Passengers have started getting off the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan where 6 Irish people were on board.
Two have tested positive for coronavirus and are now being treated at a medical facility.
Almost 4 thousand people had been in quarantine on the ship for two weeks and over 500 people have tested positive for the illness.
Meanwhile, nine Irish citizens were on board a ship quarantined off the coast of Cambodia, two of whom are now back in Ireland.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's liaising with the relevant authorities about repatriating Irish nationals who are affected.
More than 72,000 cases of the coronavirus have been found so far, with almost 1,900 deaths.
