Taking public transport to work instead of driving makes people happier, according to a new study.
Research from the University of East Anglia shows that drivers feel under constant strain and are unable to concentrate.
It finds that the exercise taken to get to the bus stop or train station makes people happier and helps them to sleep better, but those who cycle or walk to work are the least stressed.
Senior Economist from the University of East Anglia, Adam Martin says the relaxation of the journey on a train or bus also helps.
