Repeal the 8th and the Beast from the East were some of the biggest Irish news hashtags on Twitter in 2018.
The social media giant has looked into what the World was talking about most this year, with Brexit and the Royal Wedding some of the most discussed global events.
The Presidential Election was also a big talking point, with #aras18 the third most popular Irish News Hashtag.
While TV shows Irish viewers tweeted the most about included Love Island and Eurovision.
