Ryanair has agreed to buy up to two hundred new Boeing 737 aircraft in a deal worth more than 17 billion euro.
The deal will see the low-cost carrier purchase a hundred Boeing 737 MAX 200 "gamechanger" aircraft - with an option to buy one hundred more.
The order also sees Ryanair become the lead customer for the new aircraft - which features almost 200 seats and new engines to reduce fuel consumption.
The agreement was signed by Ryanair CEO, Michael O'Leary, and Boeing commercial airplanes president Ray Conner in New York.
The order will become Boeing's largest ever aircraft order from a European airline.
