The Taoiseach says he's happy for the state's chief auditor to investigate IBRC's handling of the sale of SiteServ.
The Comptroller & Auditor General is now set to investigate how the company was sold, resulting in a loss to the taxpayer of over €100 million euro - despite other bidders reputedly making higher offers.
Opposition leaders have raised more concerns about the sale - but both Enda Kenny and Michael Noonan say they're happy with the action taken by the state.
Meanwhile Alan Dukes, the former chairman of IBRC, has defended his own role in the handling of the affair - but insists he was never asked to conduct any inquiry into how SiteServ was sold to the Denis O'Brien-backed Millington.
