Emergency teams in Ecuador have pulled survivors out of the rubble two days after an earthquake left more than four hundred people dead.

The celebrations come as hopes were dwindling that any more people would be found alive.

A hotel receptionist was rescued from the rubble of the Hotel El Gato in the town of Porto Viejo.
