Exploratory talks aimed at ending the ongoing pay row between Luas drivers and Transdev have adjourned for the day.
Both Transdev and SIPTU engaged in separate discussions at the Workplace Relations Commission to see if full talks can begin, in an effort to bring an end to the dispute.
It follows a 48-hour strike on the service last week.
Further industrial action is planned for March 8th and again on St Patrick's Day.
Workers are looking for a pay hike of up to 53% but Transdev says they cannot afford to pay that.
