Outdoor concerts could be allowed in the Autumn if COVID-19 remains suppressed.

Leo Varadkar has said outdoor cultural events with a few thousand people could return as early as September.

While cinemas may be allowed to re-open in August with social distancing.

A ban on mass gatherings is in place until September.

Meanwhile, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says "If things continue to go in the right direction, and if the virus stays suppressed, I think we could see some smaller outdoor mass gatherings in September."

"Maybe outdoor cultural events of a few thousand people".

He said these could be events of up to 5,000 people.
