Traffic Restrictions In Dublin And Tipperary Ahead Of Shane MacGowan's Funeral
The funeral of the singer-songwriter Shane McGowan will take place in Co Tipperary this afternoon.
President Michael D Higgins, singer Nick Cave, and actor Johnny Depp are among the A-listers expected to attend the service in Nenagh.
A funeral procession will make its way through the streets of Dublin city from 11 o'clock this morning, where people can pay their respects to The Pogues frontman who passed away last week at the age of 65.
Traffic Restrictions
Traffic restrictions for Shane's funeral procession through Dublin begin at 10.45 this morning, affecting traffic from South Lotts Road in Ringsend.
The cortege will then move across McMahon bridge onto Pearse Street to the junction with Lombard Street East, before turning onto Westland Row, Fenian Street and Denzille lane.
The procession and funeral of the late Shane MacGowan will take place tomorrow in Dublin City Centre and Nenagh Co. Tipperary.

In Nenagh, Church Road to Market Cross is closed this morning until 7 this evening.
There'll also be restrictions to traffic for Kenyon Street, Pearse Street and Nenagh town centre from 2 o'clock this afternoon until 7 o'clock this evening.
