The Minister for Transport has called on both sides in the Luas dispute to attend talks to try to avert a 48 hour strike from tomorrow.

Tram drivers will walk off the job for two days in a row over pay at the company. they are looking for pay increases of up to 54%

Pascal Donohoe says thousands of commuters will be massively inconvenienced by the action.

Minister Donohoe wants both the unions and the Luas operator Transdev to re-engage with the Labour Court.
