The terrorism charge, brought against a member of Kneecap in the UK has been thrown out.
Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, had been accused of displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at one of the group's shows in London last November.
The Belfast rap trio had previously denied the charge publicly.
The judge at Woolwich Crown Court ruled that there is no jurisdiction to hear the case, after the charge was brought outside the six month limit.
A crowd of demonstrators had gathered outside the court in London in support of the Belfast rapper, who's also known by the stage name Mo Chara.

The 27-year-old spoke through an Irish language interpreter for the entire proceeding.
It had been the defence’s case that the charge was brought outside the six month limit in order for the court to have jurisdiction to hear the case.
Today, the judge ruled in their favour, and the charge has been thrown out.
However, speaking in court, the judge clarified this does not indicate Mo Chara’s innocence or guilt in the alleged incident, but simply means the case cannot proceed.
The public gallery erupted into cheers once the decision was revealed, while hundreds of supporters outside the court held a celebratory Fleadh Cheoil.
