Gardaí say they've now identified a man shot in Dublin's inner city this afternoon.
It's believed the victim was not the intended target in the lunchtime shooting at the junction of Sheriff and Oriel Street.
The man in his 20's was shot up to six times.
Gardaí say the victim's family has asked for privacy.
