A woman has been killed following a crash in Co. Kerry.
The crash, between a jeep and a car, happened at around 8 o'clock this morning on the N21 at Meenleitrim in Castleisland.
The sole occupant of the car, a woman aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the jeep was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation has been launched into the collision.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
