A young boy is in a serious condition in hospital after being attacked by a dog in Co. Wexford.
Emergency services attended the scene in Enniscorthy yesterday afternoon and the boy was airlifted to hospital in Dublin.
Gardai say the child was airlifted to Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin, where he's being treated for serious injuries.
Gardai say the dog has since been destroyed. It's believed the dog involved was a pit bull.
