Today Mairead was joined on the line by her pal Tommy Bowe to chat about what it's like when someone who lives and breathes sport, suddenly has to spend four months with no sport at all - and a newborn baby!
Tommy gave his thoughts on what the break will mean for rugby players who have been playing consistently for 10 years once they get back to playing again, and also cried photoshop when Mairead mentioned this photo of Johnny Sexton - who has clearly hasn't been sitting at home baking banana bread!

Tommy told a story of when he and Johnny were playing on the Lions, and someone compared Johnny to a coca cola bottle because he apparently has no shoulders! Judging by this photo, no one could make that comparison now!
Since now more than ever it's important to support independent retailers, Tommy spoke about how he has always encouraged people to shop for his XV Kings clothing and shoes locally rather than buying them online. It's good to remember that these business owners are families in our communities and need us more than ever now.
