Yes it's Domhnall Gleeson.
Whether it's Brooklyn, Star Wars, Ex Machina or his latest, The Revenant, he's had one hell of a year.
The Revenant is inspired by the true story of Scots-Irish fur trapper Hugh Glass (played by Leonardo DiCaprio). Set in 1823, the film follows Glass on his quest for revenge after he is betrayed by another fur trapper, played by Tom Hardy. Gleeson plays the leader of the hunting expedition, Captain Andrew Henry. Oh and the film only got the most Oscar nominations yesterday including for Best Picture, Best Actor (Leo Di Caprio) & Best Director (Alejandro González Iñárritu). Check out the trailer.
We spoke to Domhnall from a room in London about the movie, the woes of his favourite football team Aston Villa and whether the role of David Bowie in a movie might interest him...!
Have a listen & check out The Revenant over the weekend in cinemas nationwide.
