With a name like McHale, he HAS to have Irish connections & indeed he does - in Mayo. Kevin visited the county with the Glee cast a couple of years ago and met a McHale or two there, his Dad still talks about the trip!
The Glee star plays a choir teacher at a boarding school, in the new film 'The Choir' - which is out in Irish cinemas this Friday 10th July.
The film is based around a real school in the US called the American Boy Choir, an all boy boarding school. The story follows an adopted child who is a new arrival at the school, Kevin's character plays his teacher who sees a lot of potential in the pupil. Irish composer Brian Byrne wrote the music for the film & there is an all star cats including - Eddie Izzard, Kathy Bates and Dustin Hoffman.
Kevin also gave the Ian Dempsey team tips on where to go in LA when they visit at the end of July.
