Kathleen O’Connor has been confined to a wheelchair for over twenty years after she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 44.

However, last year, the mother-of-nine took her first steps in 21 years following her diagnosis.

She was able to walk using an exoskeleton and said the experience was like “a dream.”

She is now trying to raise €150,000 to bring the Exoskeleton to the west of Ireland so other wheelchair users can avail of the exoskeleton and walk again.
