England came crashing out of the Euros at the hands of Iceland last night.
In one of the most surprising losses of the tournament, the team were beaten 2-1 by the Scandinavian outsiders, spurring manager Roy Hodgson to resign after the game.
As always, the Internet provided the hilarious commentary for the country's second descent into chaos ...
The Times was having NONE of the England team
Like a mad Dad after a Maths test - zeroes and anger everywhere.

Steve McClaren won't be getting work as a psychic any time soon
England have nothing to worry about. Nope. Absolutely ... Oh.
I can’t stop laughing. Thank you Steve McClaren for this beautiful moment on TV. pic.twitter.com/MRIpWakDKa

That face drop though ...
Thank God for the ITV's top quality punditry ...
Ian Wright compared England's performance to characters in what 1996 movie starring Michael Jordan?!
This is punditry for the ages. I am so delighted this happened. #ENGICE https://t.co/uwueV4Afpy

Personally, I'm not seeing the resemblance, but what would I know?
Concern over the Icelandic commentator's heart rate grows
