Premier League Live returns to the airwaves this weekend after the international break and we’re doing a double header. First up it’s Liverpool against Everton in the Merseyside derby and that will be followed by Manchester United’s game at home to West Brom. The race for the top four is hotting up nicely with 10 games to play. Chelsea and Tottenham are both in action on Saturday afternoon so we’ll have reporters at all of the games to keep you up to date.

Liverpool v Everton at Anfield - 12.30pm

Both clubs are counting the cost of the international break. Seamus Coleman and Ramiro Funes Mori will miss the rest of the season for Everton while Liverpool will be without Adam Lallana for the next month. Jordan Henderson and Morgan Schneiderlin are also ruled out for their respective clubs. Liverpool beat their Merseyside rivals 1-0 at Goodison Park back in December but it’s the Toffees who’ve been in better form since that game. Ronald Koeman’s side were 16 points behind the Reds after conceding  that late Sadio Mane goal but a win for Everton this weekend would close the gap to three points. However you have to go back to 1999 for the last time Everton won at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp could become the first Liverpool manager to win his first three league Merseyside derbies and the Reds are unbeaten in 14 league games against the current top 10 this season.

Ron Jones and Brian Kerr will be our commentary team at Anfield.

Manchester United v West Brom at Old Trafford – 3pm

United have two routes into next season’s Champions League. Jose Mourinho’s side are still in the Europa League and they’re four points behind fourth placed Liverpool with two games in hand. United could be in an even better position if Liverpool don’t take maximum points from the Merseyside derby.  It’s the first of nine games in all competitions in April for Mourinho’s men are there are some tough fixtures to come, Chelsea and Manchester City. United will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera due to suspension while Paul Pogba, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are all ruled out through injury. United haven’t lost a league game since October 23 but they’ve drawn far too many, especially at Old Trafford where seven teams have left with a share of the points. West Brom beat Arsenal 3-1 before the international break but the Baggies have only won three league games away from home this season.

Ian Beach and Mark Lawrenson will be in the commentary box at Old Trafford.

There will also be another competition this week with a chance to win two tickets and flights to a top Premier League game in April.

Tune in from 12-6pm on Saturday April 1st.
