26 years of age. You should be getting a grounding in your chosen career. Thinking about buying a house. Making a list of places in the world you'd love to see and life goals you'd love to achieve.
That's what a 26 year old SHOULD be doing.
But not Rachel Kenneally.
Instead Rachel is headed for her eternal resting place in the shadow of the Galtee mountains.
An athlete who graced Ireland's greatest arena such a short time ago will be making her final journey in a black hearse from St. Michael's church in Tipp town to St. Michael's cemetery a short distance away because cancer took her too early.
From the beautiful Glen of Aherlow in the Premier county Rachel passed away peacefully at her Ballyglass home.
Sadly missed by her loving parents Denis and Mary, sisters Laura and Louise, grandmother Alice, uncles, aunts, relatives, neighbours and friends, Rachel was an achiever.
The talented footballer graduated from Mary Immaculate College in Limerick in 2013 and was a member of the college's championship winning squad.
Having played ladies football for Tipperary from 2009 to 2014, Rachel featured on the team which reached the 2013 All-Ireland Ladies Football Intermediate Championship final.
Rachel also played with Aherlow and starred on the Tipperary minor teams which won Munster B championships in 2009 and 2010.
The primary school teacher also helped to propel Aherlow to the 2011 All-Ireland junior club final.
A past pupil of St Anne's Secondary School in Tipperary Town, Rachel graduated from Mary Immaculate College in 2013 with a degree in primary school teaching and featured on the Mary I league and championship winning squad of 2011-2012.

There is a mass for Rachel on Easter Sunday in St. Michael’s Church, Tipperary at 12.30pm.
Her family have asked for donations to Cancer Research in her honour.
