That Zlatan Ibrahimovic lad looks like a bit of a find.
When he joined on a free-transfer, plenty of us questioned whether the 34-year-old was past it or not.
It's only the end of February, but after 26 goals so far that question has been answered with a resounding yes.
The swaggering Swede was the hero, scoring the first and third goals, as Manchester United lifted the League Cup for the fifth time in their history.
His first was stunning. A curling free kick, whipped into the bottom corner. Fraser Forster was at full stretch, but never stood a chance.

Southampton had come from 2-0 down to level it up, Manolo Gabbiadini continuing his impressive start to life with the Saints to claw them back into it.
It looked like we were heading for extra time, but Zlatan was determined to have the final say. Ander Herrera found space on the right, placing his cross perfectly onto the dome of the unmarked Ibrahimovic, who drove his header into the back of the net for the winner.
If we were in any doubt as to the man's greatness, he made sure to confirm it for us afterwards. It's hard to disagree with him.

It was also a significant moment for the man who brought him to the club, Jose Mourinho. The Special One is now the first Manchester United manager to win a major trophy in his first season at the club. And it also adds to his legacy as a cup specialist, securing his 11th win in 13 final appearances.
Is it the start of a new era at Old Trafford?
