ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET

Last night, the National Television Awards celebrated the biggest and best of television and here are all the big winners, voted for by viewers at home.

Ant and Dec took home the award for Best Presenter, continuing their unbelievable 19 year streak. The lads also won the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award as part of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

MRS BROWN WINS GOLD

This Morning won the Live Magazine Show Award and apparently the Loose Women team walked out and went home early after losing to Phil and Holly again! Mrs Brown’s Boys won the award for Best Comedy, beating Fleabag, Derry Girls and Afterlife. Peaky Blinders was named Best Drama and Cork man Cillian Murphy took home the award for Drama Performance for his role as Tommy Shelby in the show.

EMOTIONS RUN HIGH

Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson’s documentary about online bullying ‘Odd One Out’ won the award for Factual Entertainment and she broke down in tears on stage when accepting the award. The Great British Bake Off won the Best Challenge award and Strictly Come Dancing took home the award for Talent Show. Emmerdale won the Battle of The Soaps by being named Best Soap and the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special won the Impact Award which isn’t given every year, only on special occasions.
