Want to make some money out of cow pat?
Tony was in stitches over cow dung this morning as he spoke to Frank Barrett from Castleconnor, Corballa, Co Sligo.
The third Cow Dung Festival takes place at Castleconnor this weekend.
The football pitch will be divided into squares which will be ‘sold’ for the purpose of the event (tickets cost €2 a line or 3 for €5). A local dairy cow will then be let loose onto the pitch and wherever her droppings land the owner of that square will scoop a big cash prize wth the 8 squares around it also receiving smaller cash prizes. With a prize fund of €1,200 it's not to be sneezed at!
