Our listeners were able to tell us that the tattoo reads, “nuair is gá dom fháil bhaile, is tú mo réalt eolais”. It means, “when I need to get home, you’re my guiding light”.
These are lyrics to Foy Vance’s song, Guiding Light, in which Ed features, and were apparently written in Foy's handwriting.
