Well, we bagged an exclusive interview with Mario Rosenstock ahead of his brand new show this weekend.  Even though he was absolutely mobbed with paparazzi, I managed to get him for a quick chat this morning. The brand new Mario Rosenstock show will air THIS SUNDAY on RTE 1 at 9.30pm and we can exclusively reveal that the first celebrity guest will be Louis Walsh. Not just Mario doing Louis, but Louis Walsh. The show will be running for six weeks and will feature lots of celebrity guests including Willy O’Dea, Francis Brennan and Keith Duffy, live music and lots of craic! DO. NOT. MISS IT! 

The Hoff has revealed that he has changed his name legally and has decided to drop the ‘Hassel’ from his last name. David Hoff took to Twitter to write. "Big news today and a massive relief for me. I hope everyone can understand… it feels great!".He also included a video where he explains that he’s wanted to drop the Hassel part of his name for years. Now, I’ve done a bit of snooping around and I think I sniff a publicity stunt but nothing has been confirmed so we’ll see….

Catastrophe, the Channel 4 series starring our own Sharon Horgan and American comedian Rob Delaney has hit its highest figures yet. Tuesday’s episode scored just under 1 million viewers which is the highest audience yet for the series.  I’ve been watching it and I’m already looking forward to Tuesday for another instalment. It's amazingly filthy but massively funny.

Niall Horan is to team up with Ellie Goulding to write some new material.  I wonder how Ed Sheeran will feel about that?! Ellie went on the record to confirm that she’d like to sit down and write with Niall while One Direction are on a hiatus but if you remember, Ed’s angry hit ‘Don’t’ was allegedly about Ellie having a fling with Niall Horan while they were seeing each other so it might cause a bit of friction....
