Following 8 weeks of deliberation, 75 Judges from Ireland and the UK have selected the best of Irish radio and announced the short listed entries for the 2013 PPI Radio Awards - and Today FM have come out on top!

Sponsored by PPI and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, the PPI Radio Awards was established 13 years ago to acknowledge and reward the excellent contribution of writers, broadcasters, producers, presenters, reporters and technicians all working within the field of Irish radio.

This year a record number of entries was received (in excess of 600) from almost every station broadcasting on the island of Ireland, and Today FM notched up 18 nominations total - more than any other commercial station in the country.
