Ásgeir recorded stripped down versions of his music directly to 7" vinyl records for his new Straight To Vinyl Project.

The unique recording took place in Ásgeir's studio in Iceland in just under 24 hours and was broadcast live on Slow TV in Iceland and on Ásgeir’s YouTube channel. 

Now, an international fan scavenger hunt to find vinyl copies of this unique recording has rattled through Europe and is about to trickle through Ireland.

He's been leaving clues in the UK already using the hashtag #asgeirstraighttovinyl
