An Irishman has been killed while fighting in Ukraine.
He had been fighting Russian forces in the country.
The family of Finbar Cafferkey has confirmed he has died in Ukraine.
He was originally from Achill in county Mayo and previously had fought against ISIS in Syria.
He had travelled to Ukraine recently to help local forces.
It's said Finbar had a committment to humanitarian and environmental causes.
