We are super excited about this!
Louise Duffy presents 'Ireland's Sonic Youth'. This series was born out of witnessing the sheer volume of musical talent on offer currently from Ireland's youth.
We decided to invite some amazing acts to Marconi House and we start this series on Tuesday April 18th.
However we want more, we are looking for more bands or singers to be a part of this series. Are you aged 16 - 19, do you write and record music? Do you know someone in your school or family who is musically AMAZING?! We want to discover more of Ireland's Sonic Youth.
How to apply;
Send one of your songs to lostinmusic@todayfm.com with details of who you are, where you are from and why you think you should be a part of The Sonic Youth Series 2018. Don't forget you must be aged 16 - 19 and have a song ready to send to us.
Louise starts the series presenting Seamus Harty. Seamus is from Kerry, we heard him first through Louise's fella, Mr Paul Galvin! Seamus was booked to play a song at a fashion show in Tralee. You cannot deny he has star quality.
Check out this clip, and don't forget you can hear the song in full on the show.
We're excited to launch the #SonicYouthSeries tomorrow on #LostInMusic with @louiseduffyshow - celebrating the very best in upcoming Irish youth talent!
Up first tomorrow from 7pm, is 17-year old Seamus Harty from Tralee - wait until you hear his voice! 🗣ï¸ðŸ”ŠðŸ™Š pic.twitter.com/CemXtzyfVS
