Plenty to whet your musical appetite this week.
'Father John Misty decided to play a trick on the Worlds Media recently, his version of Taylor Swifts 1989 (in the voice of Lou Reed in the style of Velvet Undergound) gathered a lot of attention. He was sure the media will print anything so slightly irked with the attention removed the aforementioned cover from the web. When asked why? he gave the explanation that Lou Reed had appeared to him in a dream and told him to remove the song! He then said last week he had made up the story about Lou Reed visiting him to prove the media will print anything. Guess he has proved himself right.
