Gina's New Roomie:
"The weirdest but v funny thing that happened to me was when my friends stuffed pair of pj's & put it on a folding stool in my tent! They used wellies as legs & my brothers helmet as a head! I had had a few too many. Flying home solo to my tent and was sure someone had broken into our tent so I called the Guards!"
Emer's Glumping At Sea Sessions:
"One of my (clean) favourite festival memories was Sea Sessions four years back. The whole thing was an absolute disaster! There was a horrendous storm so all the surf stuff was cancelled. Then the main tent was closed cos someone thought it'd be a great idea to have an inflatable tent on the Atlantic coast... and it nearly lifted off. On the last day they ran out of beer at about 1 o'clock. The showers were closed most of the weekend in the campsite and it was just constantly raining! Someone had tethered their two man tent to a light pole as well as the ground but the wind was so bad that it was lifted up out of the ground whole and slapped around a 20ft in the air for the weekend. It become the sign-post, the beacon and the lord of the weekend! Through the misery I made so many new friends and found the craic to be had in all the little moments! What's do you call the opposite of glamping? Glumping? Most memorable festival ever, and it always makes me smile!"
