Bobby has his Top Tips every Saturday on Weekend Breakfast

Weekend Breakfast is teaming up with Children’s Health Foundation for The Great Irish Bake, taking place on 27th March.

And to help us along for this years campaign we have our own Little Baker… his name is Bobby Sherwood and he is from Arklow – he’s 14 years old --- and we have had him on the show as a guest a few times and following him on his Instagram @ bobbys_baking and he even has his own catchphrase: “Bobby Bakes It Better”
We are delighted to have him on board!!
Every week he will share one of his favourite recipes... this week it's:
Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 15 thin cookies
Tips
      1.    Preheat the oven for at least 12 minutes.
      2.    This dough is quite wet and spreads a lot, so use an ice cream scoop to make even-sized balls.

      •     130g flour
      •     130g chocolate chips
      •     2 large eggs
      •     1 tsp vanilla extract
      •     ½ tsp baking soda
      •     ½ tsp salt
Instructions
      1.    Preheat the oven.
      2.    Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bowl.
      3.    Whisk in the brown sugar and white sugar.
      4.    Add the eggs and mix well.
      5.    Stir in the vanilla extract.
      6.    Add the baking soda and salt.
      7.    Sift in the cocoa powder and mix.
      8.    Add the flour and stir until combined.
      9.    Fold in the chocolate chips until fully incorporated.
      10.   Scoop equal-sized balls onto a lined baking tray.
      11.   Bake for 13–15 minutes.
      12.   Let them cool for 15 minutes before serving.
