Gardaí Looking For Help Identifying Man Assaulted in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are still trying to identify a man seriously injured in an assault.

It happened in Temple Bar in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

He was attacked by two men on Cope Street shortly after 12:30am.

He was found unconscious sometime later and was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Gardaí can't work out his age but say a tattoo on his right forearm shows a blue and white flag with the words “Ceol is Beatha”.

Investigating officers are examining CCTV footage of the area and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

They're trying to identify both the victim and alleged perpetrators of the attack.
