With customers using their phones for online shopping, Amazon is thought to be moving into the mobile phone market. At the moment the Amazon app is at the mercy of Google (android) and Apple (iPhone).
If it gets enough users it could provide serious competition in the phone market – currently dominated by Apple iOS and Android.
