Leaving Certificate results are out today and with that comes working out your CAO points.
Help is at hand from www.careersportal.ie, the leading career guidance resource in Ireland, which has released a FREE CAO PointsCalc App.
As well as calculating your points, the PointsCalc App directs you straight to the CAO courses which are available to you once the points are updated at 6am on Monday morning, 18th August.
Using the app is simple: just input the results and the app will instantly calculate your top six, and it will include any additional points for honours maths etc. to work out the points for you.
You can then go to the CAO courses database and check out what last year’s points were for your preferred course.
