When Bono Met Tony: in January, the late Tony Fenton was invited to join Bono and wife Ali at home in Killiney to record an interview with the U2 frontman. The interview was broadcast in a special one-hour show on Bank Holiday Monday. During the interview, Bono pays Tony the compliment of saying that the band are big fans of his and how he is “more consistent than U2”. It was the last interview that Tony recorded. Tony sadly passed away on Thursday 12th March this year. Listen in full here:
