The 10km event kicks off on Baggot Street at 2pm and will finish on Fitzwilliam Place.

Good luck to all walkers, runners and joggers!

Here are some tips to keep you going strong:

  • Keep refreshed and hydrated - use the water stops along the route
  • Keep comfortable – wear the correct running attire to keep you cool
  • Make sure you wear good running shoes that you’ve worn before (nothing worse than blisters)
  • Get your motivational playlist sorted (some ideas below)
  • Pick something nice to look at on the course
  • Break the kilometres into smaller chunks by counting or reciting song lyrics that measure a certain distance
  • Don’t carry unnecessary items – get your supporters to take the photos
  • Give your legs a rest by incorporating stretches of walking along the way
  • If it’s a sunny day wear some good-fitting sunglasses to reduce glare – and don't forget sunscreen
  • Make sure you have some treats in store to look forward to on completing your run
