Well, what a weekend that was...

We all hit the road on Friday morning, with a car full of wind-sheeterswellies and a few ham sambos. It was the perfect roadtrip; good tunes, messing, random stories and somehow, we managed to miss the dread Electric Picnic traffic. We headed straight for the Today FM Sound Garden which looked absolutely deadly. I know we are biased, but in fairness, it was pretty cool. Phil was live from the Sound Garden from 2.30pm and got things off to a great start. The revellers started to trickle in and pretty soon, we were in full on festival mode.

Then, he turned the cheese dial to 11 and went all '1980s God' on our asses with the 80s Disco. It was BRILLIANT. It was tune after tune and our Today FM glow sticks went down a treat. Ed Smith hopped on the decks after Phil and we partied until the early hours. It was ROCKING. The dance moves were spectacular if we do say so ourselves.

The next morning, we did what we do best, had a big huge fry and set out for Day 2 of Electric Picnic.  The weather got better, the music was great and Mr. Ed Smith was straight up on the decks again, blowing the cobwebs off and getting people moving. Himself and Paula broadcast live from the Today FM Sound Garden from 6-10pm and then the music kicked off again. The place was heaving and we loved every minute of it. Our own disco diva Kelly-Anne took over and honestly, the music would have actually moved a mountain. The glow sticks were flying and the arms and legs were moving at the speed of light.

By Sunday, the festival fatigue had kicked in but once the sun came out, the second wind did too. Paula was like a child all day at the thoughts of getting to meet her idol Lily Allen and no joke, she came back in tears. How cute is that?! Apparently, Lily was sound as a pound.

Today, our legs are killing us, our heads are like cotton wool, we need a wash, a sleep and a blanket but WHAT A WEEKEND! Thank you to everyone who came to visit the Today FM Sound Garden. YIZ ARE LEGENDS. Now.......bed. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
