David Frost was the only person to have interviewed all eight British prime ministers serving between 1964 and 2010 and all seven US presidents in office between 1969 and 2008.

On The Last Word with Matt Cooper, Sinead Gleeson and Patrick Freyne profiled the career of the late David Frost:

Some of his best interviews:

Richard Nixon, 1977

Frost’s series of interviews with the former US President brought about Nixon’s revelations and apology to the American people:

John Lennon and Yoko Ono, 1969

Things got a little heated between the broadcaster and the celebrity couple:

Muhammed Ali, 1974

Frost spoke to Muhammad Ali at his Deer Lake training camp in Pennsylvania as he prepared to face George Foreman. The interview was conducted in the middle of a boxing ring:

David Frost's famous 'Nixon Interviews' with former US President Richard Nixon in 1977 were adapted into a stage play and a film.

The 2008 historical drama film 'Frost/Nixon' tells the story behind the famous interviews of 1977. Actors Michael Sheen and Frank Langella portrayed the characters of David Frost and Richard Nixon, respectively. The climax of the film is the scene in which Frost brings about Nixon’s revelation that, “when the president does it, it's not illegal”:
