Jason visited the Kenema Government Hospital where 30 medical professionals have contracted Ebola and died in the last four months. A further 366 confirmed Ebola cases have been registered at the makeshift centre.

There are staff shortages due to a fear of catching the virus  which means some of the desperately ill 65 patients currently in the facility may be going hungry.

On Jason's flight home a passenger fell ill - prompting a crew member to don a space-man like protective suit amid fears of Ebola. No masks or other protection were offered to passengers. Jason said even though he knows the virus is not airborne, it was still worrying.
