19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies Following Three-Vehicle Crash In Glasnevin

A 19-year-old man has died following a three-vehicle crash in Dublin last night.

The crash happened on the Finglas Road in Glasnevin at around 10:15pm, when two motorbikes collided with a taxi.

The 19-year-old driver of one of the motorbikes was pronounced dead after being taken from the scene to the Mater Hospital.

Another teenager - a passenger on one of the bikes - has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the taxi wasn't injured.

Gardai are appealing to any witnesses to come forward, including anyone who was driving in the area between 10:10pm and 10:25pm last night and may have dash-cam footage of the crash.

Anyone with information can contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
