A mother and son are being questioned in connection with the abduction and torture of Kevin Lunney.
They were arrested earlier this morning along with another man, following the attack on the Quinn Industrial Holdings director two months ago.
Kevin Lunney was found on the side of the road in Cavan after being abducted outside his home in Fermanagh on the 17th of Sept.
The 50-year-old was slashed with a knife, doused with bleach and branded by his attackers.
The two men arrested this morning are in their 20s and 40s, while the woman is in her 50s.
Last week the chief suspect in the investigation, Cyril McGuiness, died during a police raid in the UK.
The joint investigation between the Gardaí and PSNI continues.
