Two men accused of assaulting and falsely imprisoning Kevin Lunney have been granted bail by the High Court.

The Chief Operating Officer of Quinn Industrial Holdings claims he was abducted from his home near Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh last September.

The father-of-six told Gardaí he was then physically assaulted before being left by the side of a road in Cavan two and a half hours later.

Luke O’Reilly from Mullahoran Lower, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan, and Darren Redmond of East Wall in Dublin, will have to abide by strict conditions while on bail.

Two other men are also facing trial in relation to what’s alleged to have happened.
