A man in his 80s has been injured after a hit and run in county Kerry.
It happened on the N72 at Churchview in Rathmore just after 7 o'clock this evening.
Gardaí are looking for any information on a small silver car that was in the area at the time.

The man has been taken to Cork University Hospital where he is in a critical condition.
The N72 is expected to remain closed overnight while forensic examinations of the scene are carried out.
