The British Prime Minister is to meet the European Council President today to discuss Brexit.
Donald Tusk and Boris Johnson will meet on the fringes of the G7 summit in Biarritz, as discussions between the leaders of the 7 wealthiest democracies gets underway today.
It comes after Donald Tusk said a letter from Number 10 held no "realistic alternatives" on arrangements for the Irish border.
This week, Boris Johnson wrote to him, saying he wanted rid of the Irish backstop, preventing a hard border, and would back alternative arrangements.
Donald Tusk says Boris Johnson won't want to go down in history as 'Mr No Deal'.
But Johnson's hit back, claiming he won't be the one to blame if the UK leaves without an agreement.
He says the EU could easily prevent that from happening by scrapping the Irish backstop.
