A married couple has appeared in Belfast Magistrates court - accused of murdering their 5 year old daughter in Newtownabbey.
The child, Nadia Zofia Kalinowska, died after an incident at the family home on Fernagh Drive.
Her mother, 25-year-old Alexsandra Wahab, and her stepfather, 31-year-old Abdul Wahab, are both accused of her murder.
They also face charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and causing or allowing the death of a child.
The husband and wife both deny the charges - and claim the p1 pupil fell down a flight of stairs while they were asleep.
Bail was refused and the pair were remanded into custody to appear again next month.
